Questions
Who can apply?
Writers, podcasters, YouTubers, streamers and other creators who regularly cover college football or the NBA. You don't need to work for a big outlet. We just need a link where we can see your work.
How will I hear back?
By email, at the address on your account. You'll get a confirmation as soon as you submit, and a second email when your request is approved or declined. If you don't see them, check your spam folder.
Can I vote while I wait?
Yes. Until you're approved, your ballots count in the fan poll.
What changes once I'm approved?
Your ballots count in the Media Poll instead of the fan poll. Already voted as a fan that week? Open the ballot and save it again, and it moves to the Media Poll.
Is my ballot public?
Yes. That's what makes the media panel credible. After voting closes each week, your full ballot is published on the Media Ballots page with your name and outlet. Nothing is shown while voting is still open. Fan ballots are never published individually.
When do I vote, and can I change my ballot?
Each poll has a weekly voting window shown at the top of the ballot. You can edit and resave your ballot as many times as you like until voting closes.
Will I get reminders?
Yes. When you're approved, we switch on a Monday email reminder for each poll so you never miss a week. Turn it off anytime with the link in the email, or in My Account.
What if I'm not approved?
The email will tell you why. You can keep voting as a fan, update your details on this page, and ask again anytime.
How do I change my name or outlet?
Your name is in My Account. To change your outlet or link, email media@unfairsports.com and we'll update it.
